Kimy debuts with Pacific Opera Victoria as the stewardess in the 2020 Canadian première of Jonathan Dove’s Flight.

The Québec soprano made her professional stage debut with Opéra National du Rhin, and since then has performed world wide and accrued a diverse repertoire of opera, concert, recital and musical theatre.

Highlights on the opera stage include the roles of Mimi (La bohème) with Against the Grain Theatre; Léonore (Léonore, ou L’amour conjugal by Pierre Gaveaux) with Opera Lafayette; Juliette (Roméo et Juliette) with Opéra de Reims and Opéra de Metz; Marzelline (Fidelio) with Opéra National de Bordeaux, Hélène (La Belle Hélène) with the Festival de Montpellier, and Ninfa (Orfeo) in a joint production by Théâtre du Châtelet, Opéra de Lille, Théâtre de Caen, and Opéra National du Rhin.

Recent appearances include Wellgunde (Götterdämmerung) at the Opéra National du Rhin, the First Lady (Die Zauberflöte) at Opéra Théâtre d’Avignon, the Infante (Le Cid) at Opéra de Marseilles, and Zerlina (Don Giovanni) with l’Orchestre Métropolitain.

Kimy has been a prize winner in the International Mozart Competition in Salzburg and Mario Lanza Competition in Italy.
