Sameer has a wealth of global and local experience in corporate finance and strategy. Formerly the head of Deutsche Bank’s Global Equity Services division for Asia Pacific and the Arabian Gulf countries as a Managing Director, Sameer later transitioned to the role of CFO at a Petroleum, Chemicals, and Mining Company. Following a career filled with global travel alongside his family, Sameer found a new home in Victoria in 2017. There, he has engaged in independent corporate consulting, collaborated with a manufacturing firm, and contributed to a global non-profit organization. Currently, Sameer serves as a director on the boards of Victoria Literacy Connection and Suzlon Energy Limited. Sameer earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester (NY), has an AMCT from the Association of Corporate Treasurers in the UK and a diploma in Securities law.
