Amrita Verma is passionate about bringing people together and creating meaningful connections across cultures. Originally from India, her journey has taken her across Europe, the Middle East, the United States, and now Canada. Living in different parts of the world has exposed her to diverse cultures, languages, and ways of life, shaping her perspective and deepening her appreciation for the many ways people experience the world.

Inspired by her studies in Global Leadership at Royal Roads University and her work with the Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria, she strives to build bridges between cultures and create opportunities for people to learn from, appreciate, and connect with one another.

She is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this opera as a Hindi translator, supporting a project that celebrates the beauty of languages and cultures coming together through music. She believes music has a remarkable ability to transcend boundaries, creating spaces where people can connect across cultures, celebrate both their differences and shared humanity, and discover that, despite speaking different languages, the emotions that unite us are universal.
