Mezzo-Soprano

Sahara Adamitz – from Stony Plain, Alberta – is currently studying under Benjamin Butterfield in a Masters of Music in Voice Performance at the University of Victoria. In 2021, Sahara completed her Bachelors of Music under the direction of Dr. Sandra Stringer at the University of Lethbridge. Sahara brings energy, animation, and eagerness to every performance, along with the hunger for knowledge and a passion for performing. Sahara has performed with the University of Lethbridge Opera Workshop for Scenes shows, as well as the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra in Candide and as Inez in The Gondoliers. In addition, she was selected to perform O Canada for the University of Lethbridge’s Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 convocations. Sahara is always searching for different opportunities to perform, such as being selected to sing with the Alberta Youth Choir under the direction of Dr. Graeme Langager (2015) and Fred Sjöberg (2016), and participating in Orford Musique (2020) under Benjamin Butterfield. After completing her Masters of Music degree, Sahara aspires to pursue a career in professional performance, and to continue growing her passion for music.
