Abi Omotoso
Executive Associate
Originally from the United Kingdom where she worked for a number of years in an adoption and fostering membership organization, Abi Omotoso emigrated to Victoria as a Permanent Resident in January 2020 and joined Pacific Opera Victoria in January 2021.
Responsibility for the management of Pacific Opera Victoria’s portfolio of government grants, including writing government funding applications, is one of a number of tasks that keeps Abi busy. New to the Canadian performing arts sector, Abi is excited to be able to support the growth and broaden the reach of Pacific Opera Victoria.
An avid theatre goer, Abi’s favourite playwrights include Rattigan, Chekhov and Wilde. As a newcomer to Victoria, Abi is enjoying getting to know her new hometown. She loves West coast living, particularly being so close to the beach and beautiful hiking trails.
Abi is a graduate of the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom where she earned a BA Hons. degree in Education and Psychology.
