Flamenco singer Alfredo Tejada was born in Malaga and grew up in Granada, Spain. In demand at the major National and International Flamenco Festivals. Since 2007 he has been singing as part of the Antonio Gades Foundation in the shows Carmen, Fuenteovejuna, Suite Flamenca and Bodas de Sangre, touring the main theaters of the world and accompanying the great figures of dance.
In 2017 he won La Lampara Minera at the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas (the most important flamenco award in Spain) and five first prizes. In 2020 he was the winner of the prestigious Festival de Jerez award for Best Accompaniment Singer. He has released several critically acclaimed flamenco albums including En Directo and Sentidos del Alma. He has collaborated extensively with contemporary composer Osvaldo Golijov, touring the world with performances by Ainadamar.
