Cassidy looks forward, quite serious. She has long, straight brown hair that is pinned back on one side and blue eyes.

Current Shows:

Cassidy debuted as a member of the Pacific Opera Victoria Chorus in the October 2019 production of Puccini’s Il trittico. She is thrilled to be a part of Pop Up Opera this season and is happy to have a comfortable environment in which to give music to the public during these challenging times.

With a bell-like voice described as “bright, clear, and plangent,” Cassidy is gaining local recognition, performing in genres from classical and early music to opera and jazz. She holds a BMus in Voice Performance from the University of Victoria and was a winner of the 2019 UVic Concerto Competition. Her spring performance of Elgar’s Sea Pictures with the University Orchestra has been postponed.

She has a choral scholarship position at Christ Church Cathedral and remains an active member of their music community, singing in their pre-recorded Sunday services. She frequents baroque and early music festival concerts, most recently as a soloist in Pacific Baroque’s Old Music for the New Year concert series.
