Born in Montreal, with family roots in Western Massachusetts, David has worked in theatre, film, radio and television for over 40 years. He now lives in Connecticut, with his wife, Jill. Trained at The Vancouver Playhouse, National Arts Centre, and The Stratford Festival of Canada. For eight seasons he starred in Street Legal for CBC TV in Canada. Some recent theatre credits include Lyndon Johnson In All The Way (Denver Centre/Henry Award nomination), Alonso in The Tempest (Shakespeare Theatre Co. DC), Almady in The Play’s the Thing (Soulpepper Theatre/Dora Award nomination), Henry II in The Lion In Winter (Palm Beach Dramaworks), Major General Stanley in The Pirates of Penzance (Stratford Festival of Canada), Bob in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (Broadway).
