Dianne Heather Raven, KC, is a member of the Brokenhead Ojibway Nation, located in present-day Manitoba. She taught in the Faculty of Law at the University of Victoria until 2018.

As a volunteer on many boards, committees, and community groups, Heather hopes that her activities positively contributed to these organizations. She thanks the Songhees, Esquimalt and the WSÁNÉC peoples for their hospitality and the generous sharing of their teachings.
