Victoria-based soprano Jayne Hammond returns to Pacific Opera, last appearing as Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly. Known for her “clear soprano voice” (Winnipeg Free Press) and “mesmerizing” interpretation (Opera Canada), Jayne has performed with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Victoria Symphony, Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Winnipeg, and Pacific Baroque Festival. Jayne enjoys a rich and varied career in the arts sector, currently serving as Chief Development Officer at the Victoria Conservatory of Music.
