Karan Riarh

Karan Riarh serves as Committee Clerk at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. Prior to joining the Assembly, she worked in various public sector and non-profit roles in BC, Alberta, Nova Scotia and the Northwest Territories, and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science and Modern European Studies) from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Public Administration from Dalhousie University. Karan grew up in North Delta and has called Victoria home since 2016.

Karan’s love of the arts goes back to high school when she was in both band and choir. Her love of opera also stems from this time as it was a Vancouver Opera production of Carmen that she experienced through a school’s program that introduced her to this art form. In addition to the arts, Karan enjoys travelling, running, and baking.
