Lucia Cesaroni, an Italian-Canadian soprano known for her “lush, creamy voice,” commands the stage as some of opera’s most coveted heroines. In the 2022/23 season, she debuted on The Metropolitan Opera roster, covering Olga in Giordano’s Fedora, and delivered captivating performances as Violetta in La Traviata with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte at Pacific Opera Victoria.

Recent seasons have included her debuts with Romania’s Enescu Festival as the Infanta in Zemlinsky’s Der Zwerg, soprano soloist in Mahler’s Second Symphony with L’Orchestra Nazionale della RAI in Torino as well as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with Maestro James Conlon and concerts with Andrea Bocelli at New York’s Columbus Citizen’s Foundation. Upcoming engagements include performances with the Victoria Symphony and Chamberfest West, as well as the role of Norina in Don Pasquale at Calgary Opera.

In addition to her performing schedule, Ms. Cesaroni founded Cesaroni Consulting, offering workshops and coaching to Sunlife Financial, Salesforce, Google, Bell Media and Loblaw (George Weston Group) among others. She is passionate about articulating the value of artists outside of the performing arts and empowering interdisciplinary thought and practice. To further this end, Lucia writes for Opera Canada, Panoram Italia and Azure Design magazines.
