Assistant Stage Manager

For the past decade, Michelle Harrison has been both a Stage Manager and an Assistant Stage Manager in opera and theatre. She has worked with Vancouver Opera, Burnaby Lyric Opera, Blackbird, Patrick Street Productions, Realwheels, Arts Club Theatre, and Gateway Theatre on operas incuding Amahl and the Night Visitors, The Barber of Seville, La traviata, La Cenerentola, La bohème, Eugene Onegin, Le Nozze di Figaro, and theatre productions such as It’s a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol, Peter and the Starcatcher, Mary Poppins, Red Rock Diner, and It’s Snowing on Saltspring. Michelle’s theatre résumé also includes the Jessie award winning production of Whose Life Is It Anyway? for Realwheels, the Canadian premiere of the Baxter Theatre Centre’s critically acclaimed, multi award-winning production of Mies Julie, and the Canadian premiere of Richard Wargo’s The Music Shop for Vancouver Opera. Michelle is a graduate of the University of British Columbia.
