Ballet Victoria artistic Director Paul Destrooper, recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Paul Harris Fellowship, is delighted to collaborate again with Pacific Opera Victoria after choreographing Capriccio in 2010. Montreal-born, he has served as Artistic and Executive Director of Ballet Victoria since 2007, building the company into an internationally touring Canadian cultural asset. Over a four-decade career, he has danced, choreographed, taught, and coached worldwide, creating 13 full-length ballets and more than 50 works, including choreography featured in Hallmark’s Movie of the Week.
