Peter has designed close to 30 productions for The Shaw Festival (most recently, Master Harold and the Boys, and a dozen shows at The Stratford Festival, (most recently, the set for, A Long Day’s Journey Into Night). Other credits include The Belfry Theatre, (Red, The Best Brothers, 4,000 Miles), Soulpepper Theatre Company, The Globe, (Regina), Canadian Stage, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Neptune Theatre, Alberta Theatre Projects, The Centaur and The Segal Centre. In England, he co-designed, l’Orfeo, for The English National Opera, and designed for The Royal Court Theatre, The National, The Royal Shakespeare Company, Joint Stock, Out of Joint and in the West End. US credits include the New York Shakespeare Co. The Mark Taper Forum, The Folger Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre and The Guthrie Theatre. He trained at, what was then, The Sadler’s Wells Opera Theatre Design Course run by Margaret “Percy” Harris.
