Ticket Access Program

Join us at the Opera!

1,000 Free Tickets to the Opera

Pacific Opera Victoria is collaborating with a growing number of community partners to provide access to over 1,000 free tickets over the course of our 3 productions at the Royal Theatre during the 2025|26 Season; ensuring members of our community experiencing barriers to seeing live opera have the opportunities and support to attend.

What is the Pacific Opera Ticket Access Program (TAP)

Opera TAP provides 10 free tickets to each of our mainstage performances to partner organizations in the Greater Victoria Area for them to distribute to untapped audiences who would benefit from the opportunity to attend a live performance. In return, these organizations provide their expertise and community organizing capacity, guiding Pacific Opera through how to engage with their clients and community in a good way, connecting with them with the experience of live opera while delivering to each organization’s unique mission and mandate.

How can I participate as an individual?

If you are involved with one of these organizations or programs, there are free tickets available to you! Each organization distributes tickets differently, so connect with your community organization to find out more, or call our box office for information at 250.385.0222.

What do I have to do for a ticket?

Come and experience the opera and let us know what you think! That’s all. This is a completely free way to access mainstage performances at the opera, but we do hope you will fill out an anonymous survey at the end to let us know how your experience went, and what we might explore for enhancing future experiences.

Are we missing an organization you think would benefit from this program? Let us know!
